"Crown Thy Good" is a 16x20 inch colorful abstract acrylic (with pastel and graphite in the layering) painting on gallery-wrapped canvas. It comes wired in the back and ready to hang. The painting is about 1.5 inches deep; the sides are painted a warm pale sepia color; frame this piece or leave it plain on the wall. Gloss varnished for protection.

My goals for this piece were to create a soothing feeling for the viewer while still being colorful, cheerful, and delicate. I wanted to use a lot of negative space in the composition to add interest. There is a bit of use of pastel and graphite in the layering as well; to add texture and interest.

My color explorations in my abstract works aim to bring a sense of happiness and positive spirit to a space. I want the viewer to feel a sense of lightness, peace, and cheer when they observe my work. I view it as my life's purpose to bring happiness to others' homes however I can using the talents God has gifted me with. I also aim to make my work current, stylish and chic to decorate and personalize your home.
