These ladies are going to Foxwoods and are ready to play the slots and catch a show. They LOVE a good live Celine Dion concert. There will be steaks, wine, and garlic parmesan fries had by all. They were going to drive, but decided to take the fun bus instead. Cocktails on the road! Monday will be back to work in the payroll department, so it’s time to let loose now.

ARTIST STATEMENT
“The Uncaged” is a collection of original contemporary abstract paintings featuring realistic bird renderings to illustrate the concept of the “un-caging” of women. They may be oppressed or abused for part of their lives; later to break free to go on and flourish— to be their authentic selves.They are full of personality and color…truly unique. I think about how women couldn’t even have their own lines of credit until the mid-seventies...I realize so many must have felt trapped as they stuffed themselves into a figurative box to please a spouse or others. These works are a tribute to those powerful inner spirits and personalities that won’t be caged again!
